EPISODE
301 - Avenue & Bloor Show - Toronto,
Ontario
Our first loft is home to a charismatic
young woman who doesnt mind that her
husbands collector car is parked in
the kitchen, or that he drives it through
the living room and outside when the weather
is right. This 5,000 sq ft space was designed
by the couple and is complete with exposed
industrial elements, a commercial kitchen
and a purple pool table. The second loft
that we visit is in the Rodeo Drive area
of Toronto where the shopping is chic and
pricey. It has neutralized the boxy feel
that many lofts have with curved walls that
produce a soft circular design. Our third
loft is a live/work space on King St. West
where a couple have happily given up their
cars and their government jobs to run a
translation business from home. They have
creatively used light, splashes of colour
and innovative storage ideas to make the
space their own.
